York Shag Club is dedicated to keeping th dance alive in upstate South Carolina. We are 89 members strong and meet on the first Saturday of each month at Local Motion Bar and Grill in Lake Wylie, SC. Centrally located in the triangle of Gastonia, Rock Hill and Charlotte, we are convenient to all three areas and draw members from each. We utilize a wide range of Djs from throughout the Carolinas (see schedule below) and offer the best music to be found anywhere. Our pick up table is well known and our people are the friendliest around. Shag lessons are available for beginners and first timers alike. Contact us for details.
